Town Twinnings

Saarbrücken is twinned with Nantes in France, Tbilisi in Georgia, Cottbus in Brandenburg and Kowel in Ukraine.

Nantes has about 320.000 inhabitants and is the sixth largest city in France by population.

Tbilisi has 1.300.000 inhabitants and is the capital of the Republic of Georgia.

Cottbus has more than 104.413 inhabitants.

The city of Saarbrücken and the Ukrainian city of Kowel signed a partnership agreement on July 17, 2023.
